CONSTITUTION HILL IS NOT AS ATTRACTIVE AS IT SHOULD BE

Constitution Hill might be an historic area with some historic and important buildings but it is at best a bleak an unattractive area because of a badly maintained block of flats.

In March 2016 residents of the flat complex on constitution hill launched a series of protest claiming that the new Luas Tram Extension Project would block an existing access to the complex and that the reopening of a previous entry point would prevent emergence vehicles from accessing the flats. It is now September 2020 and work at the Tram Stop [Broadstone Plaza and Grangegorman Gate] is still ongoing.

In April 2018 is was admitted by the City Council that twenty one of the ninety flats were sealed up and vacant. I do not know if anY action has been undertaken since then.
