O'CONNELL STREET

Street PHotography By Infomatique

Located in the heart of Dublin city, it forms part of a grand thoroughfare created in the 18th century that runs through the centre of the capital, terminating at City Hall and Dublin Castle. Situated just north of the River Liffey, the street runs close to a north-south orientation.

PHOTOGRAPHED 03-12-2019

My photographs may give a false impression as they are somewhat dominated by a small number of buildings that are not well maintained. The street is long and the majority of the houses are very well maintained.

Stoneybatter is a neighbourhood on the Northside of Dublin between the River Liffey, the North Circular Road, Smithfield Market, and Grangegorman.

Recently Stoneybatter was rated as Dublin's hippest area, with plenty of dining and drinking options but most of it is residential with Oxmantown Road being typical.
