ALL FORMS AND STYLES OF PUBLIC ART

ALL FORMS OF PUBLIC ART

I travel throughout Ireland photographing examples of Public Art including Sculptures, Statues and Monuments

Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

When I visit Belfast I usually stay at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel and there is an exit from the hotel that leads to Saint Anne's Square and usually I visit the Zen restaurant which is located behind this sculpture. When I first saw the sculpture it reminded me of the Titanica a sculpture by Rowan Gillespie.

Sculpture in Saint Anne's Square, Belfast, by the artist Lucy Glendinning. Described by the artist as "a 7m high mirror polished stainless steel with internal lighting a laser cut pattern with coloured perspex insets and a life size figure cast in slate resin."

Urban Culture In Ireland

Street Photography is my hobby and I have a particular interest in Street Art and all forms Public Art. I began switching to Sony Mirrorless Cameras when I purchased a Sony NEX-5 in 2010 and I most recent purchase was a Sony A7RIV but I also use the older A7R3, A7R2, VG10 and RX0 cameras.

MY MAIN CAMERA

SONY a7RIV

The camera has a full-frame 61MP BSI-CMOS sensor with 15 stops of dynamic range. Personally I find it to be much better than my A7RIII
