THERE WAS A PUBLIC CONVENIENCE HERE UNTIL 2014 IT WAS CONSTRUCTED IN 1943

There was old public toilet at this location but it was demolished on August 7th 2014 to allow for extensive flood relief works to take place. Also four significant mature trees were also removed from this corner site at the junction of Merrion and Anglesea roads.
