Every year since 2011 I have tried to visit Kilkenny at least once every year and most years the rain was more or less constant making it difficult to photograph but 2018 was an outstanding exception because the weather was too good
On day two of my visit to Kilkenny in 2018 I walked more than twenty miles over three sessions and I was exhausted because the weather was very hot even though the sky was overcast. At the end of the day my feet were in a very poor condition.
Last year I had to cancel my visit to Kilkenny twice due to deaths in the family and this year I cancelled because of Covid-19. I am hoping that I might be able to visit in September or October but I doubt that I will be able to visit until May of 2021.
