RANDOM IMAGES USING A SIGMA DP1 QUATTRO

BROADSTONE - RANDOM IMAGES [SIGMA DP1 QUATTRO]

During August and September I hope to concentrate on photographing locations outside Dublin. I photographed Kilkenny last week and Cork is the next city on my list. I am now trying to decide what equipment to bring with me so I am now testing a number of options including the Sigma DP1 Quattro.

I like this camera but the results can vary and battery life is terrible. For best results one is limited to ISO 100 and low light performance is poor at best. One advantage is there are are no sensor dust problems.

"Since the DP1, the SIGMA DP series has offered the best sensor and lens performance in an optimised package. Combining the image quality of a medium format camera with excellent portability, this revolutionary series has earned the praise and affection of photography lovers around the world"
