APRIL 2015 VISIT TO MALAHIDE

MALAHIDE 2015 A COASTAL TOWN NORTH OF DUBLIN

I think that it is more than a year since I have visited Malahide.

As my photography during 2020 has so far been restricted I had plenty of time to review many old photographs thaT i never had the time to process and today i had a look at photographs resulting from a visit to Malahide April 2015. back then I used a Sony NEX-7, a camera that I really liked but the battery life was terrible as was the menu and the selection of lenses.

Malahide is an affluent coastal settlement in Fingal, County Dublin, Ireland, situated approximately 18 km north-east of Dublin city. It has a village centre surrounded by suburban housing estates, with a population over 16,000. Malahide Castle dates from the 12th century and is surrounded by a large park, part of which incorporates an international cricket ground. The area also features a sandy beach, a marina, and a variety of sporting clubs.

My programme for 2020 has been totally restricted because of restrictions relating to the current Covid-19 restrictions. I had to cancel my trips to Becfast, Cork, limerick, Galway, Kilkenny and Waterford. If things go well I might it to Waterford for the Street Art Festival in August. Much to my surprise the festival from July 13th to August 28th so i will try to book a hotel for the last week in August.
