THE HAGGARD INN IN TRIM COUNTY MEATH

I photographed this on Christmas day and one would expect for a pub to be closed on that day but the building appeared to be vacant [I did not see the notice, which may be a application for planning permission, in the window until I began to process my photographs]. I checked online and planning permission was granted for some changes to the site [21/08/2016] here is an extract “the development will consist of retention permission for roofed beer garden with seated area, retention & re-location of open roof smoking area, retention permission for increased height in boundary fence”.

As Yelp! indicated that the business had closed I phoned today and they were open for business.
