NO 3 FIRE STATION [DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE PHIBSBORO]
Three years ago as the result of the unexpected death of B Watch member Leon Rafferty his colleagues decided to create an appropriate memorial for all firefighters who have passed away. Leon’s death was the initial catalyst for the development of the memorial garden next to the fire station in Phibsboro. The project was possible because of the support from the Tesco Community Fund.
Unfortunately, I did not know about the memorial garden until today [I visited the area yesterday]. As I live nearby I will try my best to visit within the next two weeks.
