The band was formed in 1982 for the sole purpose of honouring Police Officers and fire fighters killed in the line of duty. The band consists entirely of Irish/American Police Officers from all facets of the Law Enforcement from the Federal, State, County, Suburban and City of Chicago Agencies. They have performed over 150 Honours Ceremonies in the United States.
